Cats 4 Obama is written by Midnight, Starbuck and Apollo with some help from their 4 people. They live in Colorado with human companions Mom & Dad, and their middle school age human brother and sister.
Midnight is 7 years old – that’s 49 in ‘cat years’ – and he was originally adopted from Dreampower Animal Rescue. Midnight is senior editor of Cats 4 Obama. Although he’s first to admit he’s light on experience, he does have years of sitting between Mom and her computer monitor in which he has had a chance to pick up a few things. He also hasn’t missed a night of TV with Mom and Dad in many years and has learned a lot about politics over the evenings.
Starbuck and Apollo are littermates who are 3 years old or 21 in ‘cat years.’ 
They were homeless as kittens and were rescued by the Humane Society of Boulder Valley. They were adopted from the Humane Society and have been living the American Dream ever since. Starbuck is the investigative researcher for Cats 4 Obama. He has endless energy and is constantly on alert for breaking political news and bugs invading the house. Apollo is the media blogger for Cats 4 Obama. He has been called the tubby one of the group but his extensive media surfing requires a couch potato lifestyle! He is a huge fan of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart but is working hard to bring a variety of informative videos to the blog.
Midnight, Starbuck and Apollo decided to start Cats 4 Obama in order to do their part to help elect Barack Obama as President of the United States of America. The main goals of the blog are to encourage people to register to vote and to provide thoughtful and accurate information to inform both undecided voters and Barack supporters.
